Audit Supervisor Godalming (Hybrid)
Circa Β£40,000 - Β£55,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits
Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK advisory and accountancy group who are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Supervisor to join their growing team in Godalming.

As an Audit Supervisor, you will lead audits for a varied portfolio of small to medium-sized clients, working closely with Managers and supporting the development of Semi Seniors and Juniors. The role offers excellent variety, leadership responsibility and strong development prospects.
Role Responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Supervising and training Audit Semi Seniors and Juniors
- Performing risk assessments and identifying key audit areas
- Designing audit testing approaches including substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Reviewing junior work and providing constructive review points to drive quality and efficiency
- Drafting/reviewing financial statements and audit reports, communicating findings clearly to Managers
- Producing audit completion documentation including going concern work, forecasting/sensitivity review and adjusted/unadjusted schedules
- Liaising with internal teams (including Tax) on provisions, computations and returns
- Preparing audit highlights reports and ensuring files are ready for senior review with minimal points
- Managing timesheets/expenses discipline within the team and supporting end-of-audit appraisals
- ACA / ACCA Qualified (or equivalent internationally recognised qualification)
- Strong UK audit experience with proven ability to lead audits on-site
- Technically competent with strong file review skills
- Confident communicator with strong client-handling ability
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Motivated team leader with the ability to coach and develop others
