Audit Senior Rugby (Hybrid) – with travel across East Midlands offices
Circa £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK accountancy & advisory group who are continuing to expand their Audit presence in Rugby and across the East Midlands, and are now looking to recruit an ACA / ACCA qualified Audit Senior.

This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery. As an Audit Senior, you will work across a broad portfolio of audit clients and sectors, supporting audit delivery from planning through to completion and supervising junior team members. The role will allow you to work fluidly across regional offices, with bases available in Rugby, Leicester and Nottingham.

Role Responsibilities

Supervising audit teams and supporting junior staff with training and development
Acting as a key point of contact between clients and Managers during audit assignments
Ensuring audit files are prepared to the required standard in line with audit methodology
Undertaking detailed technical audit work and supporting the delivery of excellent client service
Demonstrating commercial awareness and initiative when dealing with complex technical matters

The Ideal Candidate

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Strong audit experience within a UK Accountancy Practice environment
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Experience supervising junior staff on-site and on audit assignments
Proactive mindset with high standards and a commitment to quality
