Audit Senior Birmingham (Hybrid)
Circa £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK accountancy & advisory group who are continuing to expand their Audit function in Birmingham, and are now looking to recruit an ambitious ACA / ACCA qualified Audit Senior.
This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery. As an Audit Senior, you will work across a broad portfolio of clients and sectors, supervising audit fieldwork, supporting junior team members, and acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout engagements. The firm is looking for someone confident, proactive, and keen to contribute ideas and continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities

Supervising audit teams and providing leadership, guidance and support to junior team members
Acting as a key point of contact between clients and Managers during audits
Ensuring audit files are prepared to a high standard in accordance with audit methodology
Undertaking detailed technical audit work and supporting high-quality service delivery
Applying commercial awareness and initiative when handling complex audit matters

The Ideal Candidate

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Strong audit experience gained in a UK Accountancy Practice environment
Confident communicator with strong client-facing capability
Experience supporting / supervising junior team members
Motivated, proactive, and committed to excellent client service
