Audit Senior Leicester (Hybrid)
Circa £32,000 - £42,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits
Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK accountancy & advisory group who are continuing to expand in Leicester and are now looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior.

This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery. With a values-led culture, they offer flexible hybrid working, strong internal development and excellent long-term progression opportunities.

As an Audit Senior, you will work across a broad portfolio of audit clients and sectors, taking responsibility for the delivery of audit fieldwork and supporting the supervision of junior staff. You will work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners and will be encouraged to bring ideas to the table and contribute to continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities
  • Supervising audit teams and supporting junior staff with training and development
  • Acting as a key point of contact between clients and Managers during audit assignments
  • Ensuring audit files are prepared to a high standard in line with internal audit methodology
  • Undertaking detailed technical audit work and supporting the delivery of high-quality client service
  • Demonstrating commercial awareness and initiative when dealing with complex technical matters
The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong audit experience within a UK Accountancy Practice environment
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
  • Experience supervising junior team members on audit assignments
  • Highly motivated with a proactive approach and commitment to quality
