​Accounts Senior – Stourport on Severn

An established and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Stourport-on-Severn is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant — either qualified (ACA / ACCA) or QBE (Qualified by Experience) — who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive team environment.

The Role:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Completion of corporation tax and personal tax returns

• Preparation of management accounts and assisting with client queries

• Supporting managers and partners with client meetings and advisory work

• Reviewing work of junior staff (note: no trainees in this role)

• Assisting with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE with strong experience in general practice

• Confident preparing accounts from start to finish

• Proficient with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Enjoys client interaction and working collaboratively within a small team environment

• Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
