Accounts Senior

​Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire, who are now looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their friendly and growing team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Preparation of management accounts and bookkeeping as required

• Preparing corporate and personal tax computations and returns

• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing support, guidance, and training where needed

• Liaising directly with clients to build strong and lasting relationships

• Working closely with partners and managers to ensure the smooth delivery of client services

Skills & Experience:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (QBE also considered)

• Experience of working within an accountancy practice environment is essential

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance

• Competent in the use of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris (or similar)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
