Accounts Senior – Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire
Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire, who are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their friendly and growing team.

Role Responsibilities

Preparing statutory year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Producing management accounts and undertaking bookkeeping as required
Preparing corporate and personal tax computations and returns
Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance, support, and training where appropriate
Liaising directly with clients to build strong, long-lasting relationships
Working closely with partners and managers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of client services

Skills & Experience

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (QBE also considered)
Experience within an accountancy practice is essential
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance
Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS, or similar
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines
