Specialist Public Practice recruiters Clark Wood are currently working with a highly progressive and well renowned Top 20 firm of accountants in Manchester who are looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior/ Supervisor (non-audit) to join their team. This wll be a technical accouting role working on FRS 102, management and group consolidated accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly made up of owner managed businesses with some larger corporates, and will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently for clients within your designated portfolio.

​

The workload will be focused towards the preparation and review of statutory accounts, group accounts as well as some management accounting.

​

The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking an accounts focused position within a client facing environment and will have gained significant exposure to a range of clients, particularly those within the SME, OMB market. The role will offer exposure to larger groups and corporates.

​

Skills:

​

ACA / ACCA Qualified / Part Qualified

AAT & Qualified by Experience considered

Excellent understanding of the accounting and tax requirements of SMEs

Experience of client management
