Audit Senior – Top 20 Accountancy Firm – Up to £48,000
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to £48,000 (depending on qualification and experience)
Clark Wood working with a Top 20 firm of accountants in Wolverhampton that is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join its growing audit team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of audit assignments and gain strong exposure to a varied client portfolio.
The Role

Lead and complete audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, typically on-site at client premises.
Plan, manage and deliver audit assignments from start to finish.
Ensure audit files contain appropriate and sufficient documentation in line with professional standards.
Prepare statutory financial statements from client data.
Identify key risk areas and report matters of concern to the Partner or Manager.
Exercise professional judgement and take responsibility for audit quality and delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

ACA / ACCA qualified or close to qualification.
Strong UK practice audit experience.
Confident managing audits and working directly with clients.
Organised, detail-focused and able to work independently.
Comfortable identifying risks and communicating findings clearly.
