Audit & Accounts Senior

​Clark Wood are currently working with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior / Supervisor to join their growing team in Leicester.

This well-established firm has an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding client service and providing a supportive environment in which individuals can thrive. They are now seeking an ambitious and motivated professional who is eager to progress their career with a practice that values long-term growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments from the planning stage through to completion across a diverse range of clients, including group structures and larger limited companies. Alongside audit work, you will also be involved in the preparation and review of statutory year-end accounts and corporation tax returns. The position offers excellent variety, giving you the opportunity to work with clients across multiple industries and business sizes.

You will be a key point of contact for clients, taking a hands-on approach to building relationships and ensuring the highest quality of service. In addition, you will support and guide junior members of the team, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and supervision.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or at the final stages of their studies, and will have demonstrable experience leading audit assignments within an accountancy practice environment.
