We are excited to collaborate with a reputable firm of chartered accountants in Truro that is looking for an ACA/ACCA Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. This established firm is known for its exceptional client service and offers ample opportunities for career development.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied role, gaining exposure to diverse clients across multiple sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing accounts.

• Managing tax compliance tasks.

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.

• Engaging with clients and mentoring junior team members to support their growth.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA Qualified, or nearing qualification.

• Recent experience in a mixed audit and accounts role, particularly in leading audit assignments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop audit plans that address specific audit objectives.

• Actively participate in audit planning and fraud discussions.

• Supervise all aspects of audit fieldwork, ensuring completion according to plan.

• Mentor and develop junior staff.

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.

Skills Required

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist.

• Proven experience in leading audit assignments.
