Clark Wood are currently working with a leading, nationally renowned firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Senior to their team in Manchester.

This prestigious and forward-thinking firm have a fantastic reputation for delivering excellent levels of client service and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual to the team who is keen to progress their career with a well renowned firm. The successful candidate will join a firm who are well known for providing an excellent platform for each of their team member’s personal progression and development.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior your role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of clients including group structured entities and stand-alone limited companies as well as the preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns.

You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, providing support and guidance to assist in their development.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position. Experience of leading audit assignments is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
Preparation and review of year-end accounts
Preparation of corporation tax returns
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Liaising confidently and effectively with clients

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
Experience of leading Audit assignments
Practice experience is essential
