Accounts Semi Senior / Senior with ref. WL-18763

Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a highly respected and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Swansea who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior to their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to join a supportive and dynamic practice where you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance services.

The Role:
As an Accounts Senior / Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for:
Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Producing accounts to final stage for partner review
Preparing corporation and personal tax computations
Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts where required
Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide support
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and standards maintained

About You:
Ideally QBE or AAT qualified – study support is not required for this role
Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
Confident preparing accounts to final stage with minimal supervision
Good knowledge of tax compliance
Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload
