Accounts Manager

​Clark Wood are working with a highly respected and long-established firm of chartered accountants and business advisers. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience, the firm continues to grow and is now looking to add a talented Accounting Manager to their team in Leeds.

As an Accounting Manager (or Assistant Manager, depending on experience), you’ll be working closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily within the Medical Sector. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied client base, manage and mentor junior staff, and play an active role in client relationship management and business development.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements (FRS105 and FRS102 1A), business and personal tax returns, and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time. You’ll also be involved in resolving complex queries, attending client meetings, and supporting the wider business services team.

The ideal candidate will be ICAS, ACA, or ACCA qualified, with previous experience gained within an accountancy practice. You’ll be commercially minded, technically strong, and confident liaising directly with clients. Experience working with medical sector clients would be advantageous, though not essential.
