Accounts Manager

​Clark Wood are working with an independent firm on the outskirts of Braintree who due to internal growth are actively looking for an Accounts Manager / Portfolio Manager to join their team.

This represents an exciting hire for the firm and will offer the chance to play a key role In the team working closely with one of the partners and overseeing a portfolio of 500k+ in fees and managing an Assistant Manager and several senior staff.

The firm are looking for someone ACA / ACCA Qualified from either a purely an Accounts background or someone in a mixed accounts and audit capacity - although the audit is not per-requisite as they have adequate cover in place.

The firm can boast a varied portfolio of clients and can offer a competitive benefits package including hybrid working , 25+ days holiday, free parking , and Annual profit-based bonus (2–3.5% of salary)

Salary £50,000 - £60,000 with realistic progression into senior management.
