Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood is working with a well renowned and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Loughborough who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team.

As an Accounts Manager / Client Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients spanning a wide array of business sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients and will have responsibility for ensuring that all associated work for them is completed accurately and efficiently.

​

The focus of the role will be on ensuring the provision of statutory accounts, tax compliance, and management information to your clients. You will primarily be reviewing work produced by junior members of the team, but it may also include the preparation of accounts in for more complex cases.

​

Aside from the client management aspect of the role, you will report to the partners in the office and will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development of junior staff which will include providing support to them where necessary as well as delegating and reviewing their work.

​

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified with strong and varied general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are imperative for this role as it is key that you can build and maintain a successful working relationship with multiple clients.

​

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors

Review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts

Review of tax computations and returns

Supporting the partners and clients with any bespoke queries and ad hoc project work as required

Acting as primary point of contact for an array of clients

Take responsibility for your own billing, and managing your own workload and that of the team in a timely and efficient manner, while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations

Skills:

ACCA / ACA Qualified

Practice experience essential

Client management experience

Staff management experience
