Accounts Manager

Portishead, West Bristol

Circa £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with this well regarded and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in West Bristol who are looking to add an Accounts Manager to the team in their Portishead office. ,

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will manage a large portfolio of mixed clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for all applicable service lines (e.g. accounts, corporation tax, payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, CoSec etc). You will be reviewing and reporting on account performance, undertaking regular client visits and promoting positive client engagement.

You must be able to manage and prioritise your own work and assignments to deadlines and budget including fee targets.

In addition you will be supporting the Partners in ad hoc projects and activities and developing junior members of staff.

The firm are looking for an individual to play an integral role in the continued growth and success of the practice. You will be involved in business development activities including presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business for the firm.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA Qualified or Qualified by Experience, and you will have experience of undertaking a varied general practice role and will have the ambition to grow and continue to develop your career within practice.
