A well-established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Lytham St Annes is seeking an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant — either qualified (ACA / ACCA) or QBE (Qualified by Experience) — who enjoys a varied role across both accounts and audit, within a friendly and forward-thinking practice.

The Role:

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse client portfolio

• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

• Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns

• Supervising and reviewing work of junior team members (note: no trainees in this position)

• Supporting partners with client meetings, advisory work, and business development

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and firm policies

About You:

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE with strong experience in both accounts and audit within practice

• Confident leading audits independently and liaising with clients on-site and remotely

• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards

• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

• Proficient with cloud-based software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)

• Team player who values accuracy, professionalism, and client service
