This role offers genuine career progression, making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their accountancy career within a collaborative local firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Completing corporation tax computations and liaising with HMRC where required
Supporting and leading audit assignments from planning to completion
Managing and developing relationships with a broad portfolio of clients
Assisting in mentoring junior members of the team and reviewing their work
Working closely with managers and partners to deliver client-focused solutions
Candidate Requirements:
ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified (study support available if needed)
Experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and basic tax principles
Some audit exposure would be an advantage (but not essential)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
Competitive salary package
Study support for part-qualified individuals
Friendly, supportive working environment with real responsibility
Opportunities for long-term progression within the firm
Flexible working arrangements considered
