Accounts & Audit Senior – Lytham St Annes
A well-established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Lytham St Annes is seeking an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant—whether ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE—who enjoys a varied workload across both accounts and audit within a friendly, forward-thinking practice.
The Role

Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a diverse client portfolio
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members (note: no trainees in this role)
Supporting partners with client meetings, advisory work, and business development
Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, audit standards, and firm policies

About You

ACA / ACCA qualified, or QBE with strong experience in both accounts and audit within practice
Confident leading audits independently and liaising with clients both on-site and remotely
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills
Proficient in cloud-based software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
A team player who values accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality client service
