Baker Tilly opens for business in Aberdeen following merger with Simpson Forsyth

Previous Simpson Forsyth partners Andrew Forsyth, Campbell Reith and Cameron Bruce, all become Baker Tilly partners, and all 30 staff are transitioning into the newly merged firm.

The deal adds to gives Baker Tilly’s existing network of Scottish offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Grangemouth, and Lerwick.

Robert Ross, Baker Tilly’s Regional Managing Partner for Scotland said:

‘We’re delighted to be opening for business in Aberdeen today following our merger with Simpson Forsyth. When we announced the deal a few weeks ago, we signalled our intention to expand our offering in order to grow the business locally. As a first and important step, we are today introducing a new partner-led Corporate Finance practice which will further enhance our portfolio of services in the local market.

‘We are also hugely excited by the opportunities that operating in Aberdeen opens from an international perspective and as a member of the RSM International network, our arrival in Aberdeen also provides truly global reach and expertise to our clients to help them realise their international ambitions.’
