Trusts Manager

Clark Wood is delighted to be working with an esteemed firm of solicitors in Bristol.

The firm are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Manager to join our team.

The business is a renowned law firm with a history of providing exceptional legal services to a diverse client base.

The team is committed to delivering top-notch advice and support across a wide range of legal matters, including trust and estate management.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Trust Administration: Manage and oversee the administration of a portfolio of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

·       Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with regular updates and addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

·       Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of trusts, including the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and investment reviews.

·       Legal Compliance: Ensure all trust activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including trust deeds, wills, and governing documents.

·       Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on trust structuring, estate planning, and related legal matters to clients and colleagues.

·       Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the firm, including the private client team, to deliver a seamless service to our clients.

·       Professional Development: Stay abreast of changes in trust law and related fields, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

·       A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust management or a related field within a legal or financial services environment.

·       Professional qualifications such as STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) or equivalent.

·       Strong knowledge of trust law, estate planning, and tax implications.
