Corporate Tax Supervisor / Assistant Manager

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing national tax team. You’ll manage a diverse client portfolio, delivering both corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of UK and international businesses.
This is a varied and client-facing role offering exposure to complex tax issues, cross-border matters, and advisory projects — perfect for someone looking to expand their technical and commercial experience within a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the corporate tax compliance process, including tax accounting and reporting
Conduct detailed technical research and respond to ad hoc client queries
Identify and deliver advisory opportunities within your client portfolio
Manage and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and supporting development
Provide advice on a range of complex tax areas including:
Capital allowances and R&D tax relief
Transfer pricing
Substantial Shareholdings Exemption
Controlled Foreign Companies (CFCs)
Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR)
Withholding tax and double taxation relief
Support transactional and structuring projects, including acquisitions, disposals, and due diligence

About You
Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CTA, with several years’ post-qualification experience in corporate tax
Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
Confident managing client relationships and delivering complex advice
Excellent project management skills – able to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines
Collaborative team player with strong communication and leadership abilities
Experienced in mentoring or developing junior team members
Experience with international tax issues or specific advisory areas (e.g. transactions, R&D, TP) would be advantageous.
