Working with the National Technical Team, it's the Technical Audit Manager's role to act as the central point of contact for all technical help and queries. To proactively maintain the practice approach whilst ensuring adherence and consistency with a strong focus on the reduction of risk.
The role focusses on providing engaging training on emerging issues in a variety of formats to clients and internal teams. Managing bespoke audit methodology to ensure the high audit quality expected of a large national firm.
You would be expected to liaise with and build relationships with regulatory bodies including ICAEW & Financial Reporting Council.
You’ll provide UK GAAP, IFRS and audit technical support and training.
Webinars and face-to-face training, to Audit & Business Services departments nationally across the firm.
You’ll help to develop and implement the firm's audit methodology, working closely with the partners and staff to ensure that it drives audit quality across all offices.
You’ll be involved in researching emerging technical issues, producing written guidance and evaluating current processes in light of new requirements.
The candidate will act as the point of contact for audit technical help and queries, they Be technically up to date with audit matters and communicate to audit partners and staff any changes that need to be dealt with in terms of practical action.
The candidate is expected to be Qualified ACA/ACCA and have experience as an Technical capacity or Audit Client Manager role
