Personal Tax Senior | Hinckley | £DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers in Hinckley who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join their growing team.

The Role

You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, with responsibilities including:

Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment tax returns
Preparing partnership, trust and estate tax returns
Preparing 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns
Managing the P11D process and HMRC submissions
Assisting with Trust Registration Service submissions and inheritance tax returns
Supporting HMRC enquiries and advisory-related compliance work
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
Supporting Tax Directors with ad hoc tax planning and advisory projects
Assisting with the development of junior team members

About You

ATT / CTA Qualified (Training and QBE candidates also considered DOE)
c.5+ years' personal tax experience within an accountancy practice
Strong UK personal tax compliance knowledge
Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently
Experience with partnership, trust, estate and CGT compliance
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
