Corporate Tax Senior | Sheffield | £DOE

Clark Wood are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior to join their tax team in Sheffield.

The Role

You will take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients, with responsibilities including:

Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
Preparing CT61 returns and associated documentation
Liaising directly with HMRC on tax queries and compliance matters
Managing client deadlines and ensuring compliance obligations are met
Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory work
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and professional standards
Supporting a range of corporate tax projects and assignments

About You

ATT / CTA student preferred (QBE also considered DOE)
Previous corprate tax experience within a practice environment
Strong corporation tax compliance knowledge
Experience preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
Knowledge of CT61 returns would be advantageous
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive approach to professional development and CPD
