Mixed Tax Senior | Liverpool | £DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a fast-growing and highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team.

The Role

You will manage a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords, trusts and corporate clients, with responsibilities including:

Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
Overseeing clients’ tax compliance affairs and acting as a key point of contact
Advising clients on a range of tax matters and ad hoc advisory projects
Identifying and supporting tax planning opportunities
Liaising with clients and HMRC on tax-related matters
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team

About You

CTA Qualified preferred; ATT Qualified or Qualified by Experience also considered
Strong experience across both personal and corporate tax
Previous experience within an accountancy practice
Exposure to both tax compliance and advisory work
Confident managing client relationships independently
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
Collaborative approach with the ability to support junior team members
