Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager | Edinburgh | £DOE

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Edinburgh who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager to join their established and growing tax team.

The Role

You will take ownership of a portfolio of HNWIs and private clients, with responsibilities including:

Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and private clients
Acting as the main point of contact for allocated clients
Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
Managing personal tax compliance deadlines and submissions
Delivering high-quality, review-ready work with minimal supervision
Supporting personal tax advisory assignments where required
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
Working closely with Partners and senior team members on complex matters

About You

ATT / CTA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Strong personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice
Comfortable managing client relationships independently
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
