Our client, a Top 10 firm is looking for a Tax Investigations Senior Manager to join their growing and rapidly expanding Manchester office.

You will be joining a diverse team that includes ex-HMRC inspectors, experienced tax professionals and tax trainees

Our clients work focuses on providing advice and support to taxpayers who find themselves in the midst of all manner of HMRC enquiries.

You’ll join our national team and will participate in knowledge sharing and development of more junior team members

You’ll have day to day responsibility for the management of a portfolio of tax investigations

You’ll be settling tax investigations cases

You’ll undertake business development and win new work  

You’ll be dealing with COP9 and COP8 investigations, voluntary disclosures, tax residence/domicile enquiries, scheme settlements, ADR and many other types of HMRC dispute resolution

You’ll be CTA or FT2 (HMRC) qualified

You’ll have tax investigations experience, including Code of Practice 8 and Code of Practice 9 work
