​Mixed Tax Associate Director or Director - Northwich, Cheshire

Clark Wood have been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity, which offers the chance for an experienced Tax Associate Director or Director to join one of the region's most highly regarding tax teams based in Northwich, Cheshire.

​

The main purpose of the role would be to lead and develop the firm's North West, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester consultancy offering whilst maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes predominantly OMB (Owner Managed Business) client work, so Corporate Tax & some Private Client work, HNWIs.

The scope of the role is an interesting blend of advisory support on UK tax issues; corporate transactions, M&A, property transactions, reconstructions & demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, succession and exit planning.

​

Private Client Tax work includes efficient share structures, dividend planning, shareholder tax planning, estate planning, trusts, IHT, CGT, non-dom work etc.

​

Business Development and Networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio; Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.

​

Northwich is a fantastic location for commuters from all over the North West, Cheshire, Lancashire, Central Manchester, Greater Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Altrincham etc.

CTA/ ACA Qualified

Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile

Proven track record of Business Development

Experience within a Senior Manager/ Director level role
