Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant - Southam

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with an established and progressive firm of accountants in Southam who are seeking to recruit an individual to join their team within a varied Senior Accountant / Bookkeeping Position.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience of undertaking bookkeeping work as well as the preparation of VAT and CIS returns within a practice environment and experience of processing payroll for external clients.

The successful individual will ideally have experienced of managing a team of bookkeepers, as a Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper you will have 3 staff members reporting in to you.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertaking bookkeeping for clients 
Preparation of CIS returns
Preparing VAT returns
Maintaining up to date complete financial records
Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
Attending clients’ premises as required to discuss / gather relevant information

Skills:

Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Experience of Double Entry bookkeeping
Experience of working in practice
