Senior Accountant – Glasgow

Our client, a respected accountancy practice in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a client-facing role, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, supporting clients with day-to-day queries, and, where appropriate, assisting with tax compliance and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation
Managing client relationships with professionalism and discretion
Assisting with Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Returns (desirable)
Utilising CCH software to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes

Requirements:
Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
Proficiency in accounts preparation and tax compliance
Experience with CCH software preferred
ACCA/CA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
Ability to manage own workload while contributing to a supportive team environment
