Senior Accountant

This leading regional firm of chartered accountants are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant, ideally someone who has dealt with the specialist area of media and entertainment – ideally film accounts production.

Our client has a strong reputation in the media and entertainment sector in Central London and provides accounting & business solutions to the challenges faced by film, TV and theatre production companies, as well as specialist services for individual performers – hence why a keen interest and ideally proven experience dealing with the accounting requirements of this sector - would be ideal for this role.

The role would suit an individual with a strong general practice background, someone looking to develop into a client portfolio manager role.

Review and completion of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
Exposure to Royalty audits  
Reconciliation of control accounts - Bank, purchase ledger, sales ledger, PAYE, wages etc
Reviewing Management accounts and VAT returns
Providing tax advice and support to clients including preparation of self-assessments for individuals
Taking responsibility for junior staff members and playing an active role in the development of the firm as a whole

Skills:

ACA/ACCA Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified By Experience
Sage Line 50 and Excel
