Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading and prominent firm of chartered accountants in Harrow who are now looking to add a Semi Senior Accountant to their growing team.

As a Semi Senior Accountant you will undertake a varied role which will see you involved with the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. You will also be given the opportunity to gain some exposure to assisting on audit assignments once you are settled within the accounts team although prior audit experience is not necessary as full training will be given.

The successful person may have already begun their ACCA / ACA studies or may be at the part qualified level.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Exposure to working on audit assignments
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary

Skills:

ACCA / ACA Student or Part Qualified
Experience of working in practice is essential
Experience of working on audit assignments would be beneficial but is not essential
