Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly respected firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to add an ambitious Semi Senior Accountants to the team in their Hale office.

As a Semi Senior Accountant you will undertake a varied role which will see you involved with the preparation of year-end accounts and the associated tax computations for a diverse range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. There is also going to be the opportunity for the successful person to gain exposure to audit work with full training being given in that area.

This would be the ideal role for an individual who already possesses experience of working in practice and is now looking to progress their career within an established and prospering firm, with a proven track record for developing their staff.

The successful individual may have completed or may be working towards the latter stages of their AAT Qualification or may have already begun their ACA / ACCA studies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
Undertaking Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
Assisting on audit assignments (training will be given on audit)

Skills:

AAT Qualified / Part Qualified or ACA / ACCA Students
Practice experience essential
