Public Sector Audit Executive or Assistant Manager - Bristol
Our client, a Top 10 Firm of Chartered Accountants in Central Bristol are looking for a Public Sector Audit Executive or Assistant Manager. The role provides genuine progression to Manager level within a short time frame if achievable targets are met.
As a Public Sector Audit Executive or Assistant Manager with this national firm, you will assist the Audit Manager & Partner in supervising an Audit team, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical audit and other assurance services for Public Sector clients.
Ideally you will have worked on the external audit of public sector entities in the UK.
You should be commercially focused with good relationship management skills, and any business development experience would be a bonus.
Responsible for managing key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
Assists the audit partner in establishing audit objectives and overall scope.
Ensures key matters which arise during the audit which were not identified at the planning stage are properly assessed and dealt with.
You will have experience of leading audits of varying sizes across a range of public sector bodies including health sector, NHS, local government and social housing.
The Central Bristol office is perfectly commutable from areas all over the South West; Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Taunton, Weston etc.
ACA, ACCA or CIPFA Qualified
