Our client is looking for Private Client Tax / Personal Tax Senior Manager to work with in their Harrogate office. The practice in question has experienced rapid growth over the past couple of year and they have an excellent reputation in the local market place.

This is a great opportunity to join a very talented team working with the former head of Private Client at a big four and developing your skills with two dedicated Private Client Partners, a Director and expanding the team, servicing exciting and interesting clients who you will directly interact with.

These roles provide support across the firm’s client base, including, Ultra high net worth individuals and family offices, Entrepreneurs, Property clients and Advising shareholders involved in transactions involving company sales, Private Equity backed companies, restructuring and other complex shareholder issues

Candidates must have a breadth of tax technical skills and experience and have a detailed up to date knowledge of taxation issues.  Although the role is primarily a personal tax role, a working knowledge of corporate taxation issues would be useful.  It is also preferred that candidates have experience of working in a Top 20 firm environment.

At a minimum we would expect candidates to have a good knowledge of, Company reconstructions, Capital gains tax and Inheritance tax, Working knowledge of investment structures such as family investment companies, Statutory residence test and Trusts

Candidates will be CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified and already working in a firm with recognised for its tax capability.
