Private Client Tax Senior Manager
Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a leading firm of accountants and business advisers who are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their growing Southampton office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services, and play an active role in developing both client relationships and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing personal tax compliance and advisory services.
Identify tax planning opportunities and wider tax issues across your client base.
Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and deliver proactive tax advice.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
Support and mentor junior team members, conducting appraisals and providing feedback to enhance development and quality of work.
Monitor your own utilisation, productivity, and work-in-progress effectively.
Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters.
About You
CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified.
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax legislation, with the ability to research complex areas.
Proven experience in personal/private client tax or mixed tax within a practice environment is essential.
Exposure to a range of industries and client types is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
