Private Client Tax Senior

Clark Wood, specialist Tax Recruiters are currently working with a leading firm in Leeds who are seeking a Private Client Tax Associate to join their regional office in Liverpool

We are recruiting for a talented individual to join our well established and growing Personal Tax department, working across a range of clients.  The opportunity for career progression and personal development is available for ambitious candidates, utilising the fantastic support provided by the company

Principal Accountabilities;

Ensure tax quality at all times by adhering to the firm's quality standards.

Be responsible for the self-assessment tax compliance service for private clients including the preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns and supporting computations and to carry out all aspects of the assignment efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with the firm's procedures.

Advising on payment of tax liabilities as they become due.

Dealing with enquiries raised by the HM Revenue & Customs.

Be available to assist with advisory work and to work closely with other departments.

Skills:

Candidate should be newly qualified ATT / CTA, or due to qualify in the next 12 months. Candidates qualified by experience and willing to undertake study will be considered.

Work experience gained in a private client tax environment, preferably in practice.
 
Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
