Leading public practice & tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly reputable and well renowned firm of accountants who are now looking to add a Private Client Tax Semi Senior to the team in their Hertford office.

The role will involve reporting to the Personal Tax Manager, assisting with the management of a portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders. You will be responsible for the preparation of personal tax computations and returns for a range of these clients.

As well as the Private Client focused nature of the role, there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to gain exposure to compliance work in areas such as the preparation of P11ds.

The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Qualified and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work. Study support will be available for the successful individual to complete the ATT qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of personal tax returns
Assisting the Manager with managing a portfolio of clients
Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Preparation of P11Ds
Identifying opportunities for tax planning and assisting with ad hoc advisory work as required

Skills:

ATT Qualified / Part Qualified / Qualified by experience  
Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
