Private Client Tax Manager - Thame

Clark Wood is working with an Independent firm in Thame which is looking to strengthen their Personal Tax Team, they are looking to appoint a Manager to the team.

The role offers the opportunity join a small and friendly team working with local & national clients but still have access to high quality technical work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare annual Tax Returns, providing an all-round service with the emphasis on each client’s individual requirements

Demonstrate knowledge with regards to P11Ds, Tax Credits, Tax codes, gift aid relief claims for charities and dealing with HMRC Compliance

Training junior and other senior staff, mentoring through the tax elements

Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff

Undertaking meetings with new and existing clients in order to develop / maintain excellent working relationships

Skills:

Either Professionally Qualified (ATT / CTA) or Qualified by Experience
