Our client is a leading regional Firm of Chartered Accountants in Ipswich who are currently looking to recruit for a Personal Tax Manager to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running their own client Portfolio, which will offer an excellent variety of advisory and compliance based work for an interesting and varied range of HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, Directors, retired individuals and some non-dom work
The role will suit an experienced Tax professional looking to develop their career in a highly professional, supportive environment offering variety and challenge.

Responsibilities:

Managing client portfolio
Integration of providing private client services
Prioritisation of daily incoming post, e-mails and telephone calls for new and existing clients
Manage the team to prepare personal tax returns and associated compliance forms ready for client signature and approval and review these prior to the issue to the client
Meeting HM Revenue and Customs deadlines and time limits relating to personal tax returns and associated claims, elections, etc.
Meeting with new and existing clients
Corresponding with HMRC re Taxes, NIC and Tax Credit claims. Occasionally dealing with investigations by HRMC
To provide tax support to the owner-managed businesses owner clients as well as high net worth individuals and liaison with the corporate department and business services department on tax and technical matters.

Skills:

CTA / ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Experience at working at Manager or Assistant Manager Level
Advisory experience
