Private Client Tax Assistant/ Semi Senior

Clark Wood is currently working with a leading and highly reputable national firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success within the business, are currently looking to recruit an ambitious Private Client Tax Assistant/ Semi Senior to join the team in their Guildford office.

The role will involve assisting the Seniors and Managers with their portfolio client work, annual tax compliance and administration. Clients will include an interesting and varied client base of sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non UK domiciliaries, non UK residents, partnerships and trusts.

Assisting staff in ensuring administration of the portfolio is completed including all aspects of compliance, accounts, tax returns and tax computations.

Developing your tax technical skills, working on compliance cases for challenging and often highly demanding clients.

Liaising with third parties and the clients to collate tax return information.
Ensuring all tax compliance and administration is completed in respect of your client portfolio including the completion of annual tax returns and computations.
Ensuring clients are notified of their tax liabilities in a timely manner.
