Senior Tax Consultant – Brierley Hill
£35,000 - £42,000 + Study Support + Flexible Working
Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Tax Consultant to join an established firm of Chartered Accountants in Brierley Hill.
The role would suit a Personal Tax Senior or Tax Consultant with experience in personal tax compliance and some advisory work.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of private clients, with exposure to Personal Tax, Trust Tax, Capital Gains Tax and tax planning.
The Role

Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
Preparing Self Assessment tax returns
Preparing Trust Tax Returns and R185s
Completing Property Returns and P11Ds
Dealing with PAYE, NIC, CGT and IHT queries
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
Providing residency and Statutory Residence Test advice
Liaising with clients, trustees and HMRC
Preparing tax calculations and remuneration comparisons
Assisting with accounts preparation where required

About You

2+ years' UK accountancy practice tax experience
Strong Personal Tax compliance experience
Knowledge of Trust Tax, P11Ds and tax advisory
Experience managing your own client portfolio
Good communication and client relationship skills
Accounts experience advantageous but not essential
