Clark Wood, specialists in Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment, are working with a progressive and expanding firm of chartered accountants in Birkenhead who are looking to add a Personal Tax Senior to their team. 

You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, company directors, and sole traders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns. 

In addition to daily compliance work, you will have the opportunity to support Managers and Partners in providing advisory and tax planning services to clients.  

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax role and may be CTA / ATT / ACCA Qualified.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of personal tax returns
Providing guidance, training, and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assisting with tax consulting work relevant to HNWIs and trusts when required

Skills:

CTA Part or Fully Qualified / ATT Qualified / ACCA or ACA Qualified

Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
