Personal Tax Manager – Exeter

Our client are recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager, to manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, provide tax consultancy advice and

oversee the tax compliance requirements of the department

The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of tax cases, including self-employed, HNWIs, trusts and directors and their self-assessment tax returns and computations.

You will liase with your clients to get to know their requirements and providing advice, to build and retain commercial relationships.

You will also be overseeing the tax compliance requirements of the department, liaising with staff, developing their knowledge and reviewing compliance work.

The successful candidate will also provide tax consultancy advice covering income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax for a variety of situations such as residency and domicile questions, land and property transactions, family succession planning and business purchases and sales.

Skills:

CTA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
