Clark Wood are currently recruiting on behalf of a well renowned independent firm of accountants in Maidstone who are seeking to recruit a Personal Tax Assistant to join their growing team.
The role will involve working on a varied portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation of personal tax computations and returns.
As well as the Private Client focused nature of the role, there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to gain exposure to some corporation tax compliance work as well.
The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Qualified and will have experience in Personal Tax compliance work either from a solely tax focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of personal tax returns
Assisting the Manager with managing a portfolio of clients
Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assisting a tax partner with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required
ATT Qualified / Part Qualified
Personal Tax experience within a practice environment either from a sole tax role or from a business services role
