This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading firm of accountants to contribute to the continued expansion of their Birmingham Pensions Audit team.
Our client is looking for a technically proficient, experienced Pensions Auditor to oversee and grow a significant client portfolio. You would take responsibility for leading and developing a successful team of auditors; building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
Ensure that all work allocated is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partners.
Take responsibility for managing a key client portfolio of pension clients.
Take the lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients with minimal partner input.
Manage a number of audit teams and ensures planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.
Highlight all key issues which may affect the audit opinion to audit partner and makes recommendations for appropriate action.
Take responsibility for the supervision & development of more junior members of staff.
ACA / ACCA Qualified
Good previous experience working with Pension Assurance would be a distinct advantage
Excellent Leadership & Management track record
