Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor to join a forward thinking and progressive firm of accountants in Walsall

The ideal candidate will come from a practice or payroll bureau background and be experienced in providing a broad range of clients with a payroll service including providing pensions advice and auto-enrolment.

You will manage the Payroll team, overseeing client payrolls as well as the delivery of a varied range of support services to existing and new clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients`payrolls that will vary in size and complexity
Processing weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls
Administering starters and leavers
Liaising with HMRC and other relevant 3rd parties
Answering queries from clients regarding pay, tax and NI
Process and submit CIS information
Administering statutory payments
Processing year end payroll procedures
Reviewing the work of junior staff

Experience within Payroll Bureau/ Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of RTI administration, statutory payments and year ends.
