Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with an established independent firm in Colchester who are seeking to recruit a Payroll Senior to join their team.

As a Payroll Senior the successful candidate will come from a practice or payroll bureau background and be experienced in providing a broad range of clients with a payroll service including providing pension’s advice and auto-enrolment.

Working as part of the team you will be responsible for processing client payrolls as well as the delivery of a varied range of support services to existing and new clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working as part of the payroll bureau team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients` payrolls that will vary in size and complexity
Processing weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls
Administering starters and leavers
Liaising with HMRC and other relevant 3rd parties
Answering queries from clients regarding pay, tax and NI
Process and submit CIS information
Administering statutory payments
Processing year end payroll procedures

Skills:

Previous experience within a practice / Bureau environment.
Star Payroll although not essential.
