Payroll Manager/ Senior Manager - Colchester

We are currently looking to speak with ambitious Payroll Managers or Senior people who are looking to develop their management experience within a large and diverse Payroll bureau.

Our client, one of the region's most respected accountancy firms, are looking to hire a Payroll Consultant to take responsibility for managing, running, and growing an established Payroll client portfolio of circa 600+ clients, ranging from small to large businesses.

Overall management of a portfolio of circa 600 payroll clients, consisting of annual schemes, auto payrolls and complex payroll schemes.
Management of the overall weekly and monthly processes to ensure all payrolls are sent to client and submitted to HMRC on a timely basis.
Supervision of a small team. This will include regular appraisals and development of those staff.
Constant review of our current procedures to ensure efficiencies are implemented where necessary.
Working closely with other team members and partners to provide high level client service.
Management of WIP, billing and debtors for the payroll portfolio.

CIPP Qualification desired but not required.
Extensive Payroll bureau exposure.
Experience managing and supervising staff in a Payroll bureau environment.

The Colchester office is perfectly commutable from areas over Essex & Suffolk; Ipswich, Chelmsford,  Braintree, Clackton, Sudbury etc.
